Email signup
When an email signup form is presented, it invites readers to “Leave your email for future Reseau EDM updates.” The form asks for an email address and explicit consent using the wording: “I agree to receive email updates from Reseau EDM.” The signup supports collection for possible future updates; it does not indicate a particular sending schedule.
For each signup, the site stores the email address, a hash used to check for duplicate entries, the signup time, the source page path without its query string or fragment, the consent wording accepted at signup, and the record’s collection status. These details are stored in the site’s WordPress database.
Authorized administrators can view, export, and remove signup records. Newsletter records also integrate with WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools. A signup record remains until it is removed or an erasure request is processed.
Anti-spam records
The signup system uses temporary rate-limit records to reduce spam and repeated submissions. These records use hashed network identifiers and are subject to periodic cleanup.
